Áine Walsh’s Misneach School of reflexology and Healing Therapies is based in Galway and was set up with the aim to provide its participants with the necessary skill, theory and practice to acquire a Diploma in Reflexology accredited by the Irish Reflexology Institute Ltd. Áine also offers treatments in Reflexology and various other Therapies in her Practice “Misneach” which has been in operation for over 20 years.
Reflexology is the holistic understanding, study and practice of treating points and areas in the feet and hands that relate to corresponding parts of the body. Reflexology stimulates the body’s own healing mechanism and is highly therapeutic. A Reflexologist uses only hands to apply gentle pressure to the feet. Reflexology is suitable for all ages and the Gentle Therapy may bring a wide range of relief to both acute and chronic conditions. It has show to be effective at Aiding:

Drugs or medication of any kind are never used, and as reflexology is a complementary therapy, the reflexologist will never interfere with the medication a GP has prescribed. Sensitive, trained hands can detect tiny deposits and tensions in the feet. In these areas the reflexologist will work carefully to release the tension and restore the free flow of energy to the whole system. The course will include intensive study of anatomy and physiology as well as modules on nutrition and healing. A portion of each module will include the ‘hands-on’ approach, where participants will be shown the practical application of reflexology training.
